GROWTH IN LEARNING The limudei kodesh program is a challenging and dynamic blend of in depth study of TaNaCh, Halacha, Mussar and Machshava. Our goal is not only to give our talmidos the skills needed for independent learning, but more importantly for applying that learning to their everyday lives in a real and practical way resulting in a tangible growth in ruchnius. |

GROWTH IN LIVING As a supplement to our vigorous limudei kodesh program, talmidos are encouraged to explore and develop their interests and skills in the areas that will offer them opportunity for parnosa for themselves and their future families. The goal of these classes is to allow girls to capitalize on their natural talents and skills in ways that will provide them with confidence and self assurance throughout their lives. Bnos Chana currently offers four supplemental programs*: ~ The Sandra B. Cohn Culinary Arts Program is a unique opportunity for young women to explore their talents in the area of fancy baking, cooking, food chemistry, and the art of food presentation.~ The Computer Graphics Program will enable talmidos to familiarize themselves with the basic graphic design programs, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, as well as learn the basics tenets of good design and print. ~ Early Childhood Education teaches young women the skills necessary to open and execute a preschool program (gan). ~ The Yofi Program teaches young women the art of cutting, setting, dying, and maintaining shaitlach, as well as learning how to apply makeup for special occasions. *subject to change |

EXTRACURRICULAR PROGRAMS Our excellent academic program is complimented with an exciting and varied extracurricular program. Every week there are chugim, that include guest speakers, field trips, and hands on learning experiences. As well, there is a weekly community chessed program that allows the girls to help those who are less fortunate. Every other week we enjoy day trips to the many sites and points of Jewish and historical interest throughout Israel. A high point of every month are shabbatonim both in Ramat Beit Shemesh and throughout Eretz Yisroel. As well, there are two major trips, one to the North of Israel and one to the South. |

POLAND TRIP Very few experiences impact, motivate, and move participants as powerfully as a trip through what was once Jewish Eastern Europe. By taking the entire seminary to Poland immediately after the Yomim Noraim on a private program especially created for Bnos Chana, we are able to create an experience that will provide inspiration and motivation to our talmidos that will help them maximize their seminary experience throughout the entire year. The Poland trip is one week long and includes visits to Warsaw, Krakow, Liczensk, Auschwitz, Majdanek, Treblinka, and more. Girls will daven at kivrei Tzadikim, and visit the original Bais Yaakov in Krakow. |

FACILITIES Bnos Chana is located in the beautiful Ramat Beit Shemesh neighborhood only 35 minutes outside of Yerushalayim. The main seminary building is located in a large and airy villa and contains a lecture / study hall, a dining room where the girls are provided with a delicious breakfast and hot lunch daily, classrooms and administrative offices. Girls are housed in beautiful air conditioned, four bedroom apartments with fully equipped kitchens where they are able to prepare their own light dinners in the evenings. All the residential apartments are within the immediate vicinity of the main seminary building. Participating in the daily life of a real Israeli Torah community is an important part of the Bnos Chana educational experience. Our talmidos will have the opportunity to interact with the community by shopping in a nearby makolet or attending one the many shuls in the area. They will develop a sense of independence and responsibility, essential for their development as future neshei chayil. |
