About Bnos Chana
Bnos Chana Seminary is a highly successful program for graduates of Bais Yaakov and Bais Yaakov type high schools who want to spend a year in Israel learning to love learning in a relaxed, non pressured, non-compromising Torah environment. Our excellent limudei kodesh classes are hashkafa oriented, text based shiurim. That means that while every girl has a sefer in front of her, and is learning the great Torah texts of Judaism, the goal of each shiur is to use the actual words of the TaNaCh and Chazal to inspire you, motivate you, and educate you as to the relevance and beauty these holy words have for each and every one of our lives.
Every afternoon we dedicate an hour and a half to allowing girls to explore different areas of interest that might lead them to a potential source of parnassa later in life. Classes like Nutrition, Interior Design, Graphic Art, and Cosmetology will allow our talmidos to explore areas of natural talent and to experience different types of creative expression. These classes, in addition to the excellent limudei kodesh shiurim, provide girls with clarity, confidence and courage to become independent and successful neshei yisroel.
In addition to our studies, Bnos Chana girls enjoy regular tiyulim around Israel, a weekly chessed program, shabbatonim, a production, and many other wonderful opportunities to enjoy a year of inspiration, growth, and Torah development.
