About Halichos
The Halichos program is an intensive one year program for mature Bais Yaakov girls who are ready to begin the next stage of life. The Halichos Girl is hard working, highly motivated and prepared to spend one year working hard in order to prepare themselves for their futures. The Halichos programs offers intensive professional preparation in one of four areas of expertise: Graphic Design, Interior Design, Personal & Group Health Training, and Cosmetology. At the conclusion of the year, girls will be able to enter the workforce in their chosen fields. Our graduates are in great demand and many get full time jobs immediately upon graduation.
While preparing our talmidos to be able to help with their families’ parnassa, our girls’ main role will be that of wife, mother, and home manager. Towards that end, girls learn in high level shiurim that are especially designed to prepare our talmidos for dating, relationships, marriage and parenthood.
Even though the Halichos Program is intensive and challenging, it is also warm and caring. There are small classes with much interaction between the staff and students. There are shabbatonim, trips, chessed opportunities and a unique warm family environment that is the hallmark of the Bnos Chana experience.
