Meals & Nutrition
Bnos Chana/Halichos has worked hard to provide a meal program that is both satisfying and nutritious. In addition to having access to a fully equipped villa kitchen, we provide 3 well-balanced meals per day in the seminary dining hall. Breakfast each morning includes cereal, milk, fruit, a choice of whole wheat or white bread, peanut butter, and cream cheese, as well as coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. After a morning full of classes our students enjoy delicious and nutritious lunches with menus including a full salad bar, soups, quiches, sandwiches with choice of regular or whole wheat pita, a rice cakes option, and much more.
At dinner, talmidos will top off their day with a fully catered, home cooked meal. From Spaghetti and Meat Sauce to Homemade Shwarma, Grilled Chicken Teriyaki, and Baked Ziti, our girls are treated to a well balanced meal including fresh salad with a choice of regular or low-fat dressing, as well as side dishes like Brown Rice Pilaf, Couscous with Freshly Sautéed Vegetables, and more. In general, mealtimes are a favorite amongst our Bnos Chana and Halichos students in that it allows for a perfect setting to unwind and socialize in a warm, family-like atmosphere.
